Someone broke into a home in the 1600 block of Nestling Drive and caused $1,000 in damage by pouring bleach on clothing, according to a report filed at 2:50 p.m. March 1.

Two women, 48 and 20, said the burglary took place sometime after noon March 1.

No property was reported stolen.

At 6:52 p.m. Feb. 25, the 48-year-old woman told police a person she named threw a brick through a window, causing $200 in damage. She said the same person had broken windows in the residence earlier and that he had "begun harassing her and her family after a recent breakup."

In other Northland-area police reports:

* A 42-year-old man said he was assaulted at 5:45 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 5500 block of Ironwood Court by the father of his daughter's child.

The man said he had taken his daughter to that area after her car had broken down.

* Damage was estimated at $3,000 by a woman who said someone spray-painted racial slurs on her vehicle while it was parked in the 4700 block of Karl Road between 10 p.m. Feb. 25 and 6:55 a.m. Feb. 26.

* A 43-year-old woman filed an assault report at 5:33 p.m. Feb. 25. The victim said the incident occurred Feb. 5 in the 5600 block of Ironwood Court and that she went to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.

* A 90-year-old man said his home in the 4200 block of Marland Drive was broken into between 11 a.m. Feb. 24 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 25. A $300 handgun and $2 in coins were removed.
