An employee of a business in the 1000 block of Dublin Road reported to Grandview Heights police Feb. 28 that 12 truck batteries had been stolen from six vehicles parked at the business.

The batteries were taken between 9 p.m. Feb. 27 and 7:48 a.m. Feb. 28, reports said.

The same business reported March 8 that two more batteries were stolen from a truck parked in a fenced lot at the rear of the building.

In other recent Grandview police reports:

* A resident of the 800 block of Burr Avenue reported March 8 someone entered his car overnight and stole a pair of prescription sunglasses.

The car was parked in the street in front of the victim's home, reports said.

* A resident of the 1100 block of Willard Avenue reported March 7 her bicycle was stolen from the shed behind her home.

* A resident of the 900 block of Oxley Road reported March 2 a motorized scooter was stolen from his back yard.

* A resident of the 1300 block of Bluff Avenue reported a bicycle was stolen Feb. 24 from outside her front door.

She said she last saw the bicycle at 6:30 a.m. and that a neighbor noticed it missing around noon.
