A $500 "bulk weave" was stolen during a robbery at a store in the 1600 block of East Dublin-Granville Road that was reported at 7:38 p.m. April 4.

The employee who reported the crime said the suspects fled the scene in a white Buick four-door sedan. The employee also said the vehicle "brushed up against him while pulling out of the parking space," causing him to fall down and scrape his elbow, according to the responding officer.

In other Northland-area police reports:

* Two women who live in the 2400 block of Strimple Avenue reported at 1:03 a.m. April 2 that someone fired six bullets into their residence and two into a vehicle parked in front. "There were no injuries from the incident," the responding officer noted. The victims were 25 and 42 years old.

* Two women, ages 26 and 28, said their car was stolen by a trio of suspects who approached them as they were getting out of the vehicle in the 5600 block of Ironwood Court at 11:50 a.m. April 2. One of the victims said a suspect pulled her hair after she and her companion were ordered from the vehicle, which was later recovered in the area, according to the report.

* A 26-year-old woman said she was robbed in the 5800 block of Arborwood Drive of an unspecified amount of cash and her wallet by a man carrying a gun. Police reports said he struck her face. The crime took place at 2:51 a.m. April 1. After robbing her and hitting her with the gun, the woman said the suspect ran from the scene.

* A 34-year-old woman said someone broke into her apartment in the 5300 block of Sinclair Road between 9 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. March 29. The burglar made off with liquor valued at $80 as well as $100 worth of costume jewelry, while causing $225 in damages to the door and lock.

Another resident of the same block, a 42-year-old man, said his residence was burglarized that same day between 11:30 a.m. and 3:39 p.m.

In that instance, a $1,300 television, $1,500 in computers and other items were removed.
