Westerville police said a 32-year-old Westerville man was arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at another man and threatening him.

According to reports, the two men were "out drinking" in the early hours of April 20.

At some point, the men "became involved in a disagreement" after the suspect began driving erratically on the way to a casino, reports stated. At the casino, the victim reportedly decided to call a car service for a ride home rather than travel with the other man.

When he returned home, the victim said he had received multiple messages from the suspect telling him to pick up personal belongings that had been left at his house in the 500 block of Olde Mill Drive.

When the victim arrived at the suspect's house, he found his belongings were strewn on the ground and the suspect was reportedly holding a gun.

The victim reported he walked toward the suspect, who pointed the gun at him, according to reports. After the two "exchanged words," the victim walked back toward the street while the suspect continued pointing the gun at him, reports stated.

The victim told police the suspect "cycled the action of the pistol as if to load a round into the chamber" as a threat, according to reports.

When a car went by, the suspect reportedly put down the weapon and the victim drove away.

The victim called police, who called for backup from the Delaware County Tactical Unit and arrested the man.

He later was transported to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center for treatment and will be charged with aggravated menacing and using a weapon while intoxicated when he is released, according to police.
