Chris Mohre, president of K12 Consulting Inc., the firm hired by the school board to conduct the search for a new superintendent, said residents should plan to attend all three sessions in order to “get a good feel for the candidates.”
“Participants will not be voting on their preferred candidate, but they will be invited to complete a feedback form, which will be shared with the board,” he said.
In a press release issued May 17, district marketing and communications officer Jeff Warner said each candidate would have a final interview with the school board after the meet-and-greet sessions. Board members expect to name a new superintendent by May 30.
