A 16-year-old Reynolsburg girl who went missing May 11 was located safe last week in a small town in western Texas in the company of a 69-year-old man, authorities say.
That man -- Darrell Pridemore of Barstow, Texas, is charged in Ward County, Texas, with kidnapping.
Reynoldsburg police have filed an additional charge of interference with custody, a fifth-degree felony, in Franklin County Municipal Court.
Pridemore had an online relationship with the teen and had picked her up without her parents' permission May 11, according to court papers filed in Ward County. Pridemore and the girl were spotted on surveillance video at a Victoria's Secret store and an American Eagle Outfitters in Terre Haute, Indiana, last week. Authorities used cellphone and financial-transaction records to track them to Texas, where Reynoldsburg police requested the assistance of Texas rangers.
The Ward County Sheriff's Office found the girl at Pridemore's residence in Barstow.
