Nationwide Realty Investors has announced several new retail tenants will open later this summer at Grandview Yard.

The three businesses will occupy space on the first floor of the newly completed Manchester building, 1060 Yard St.

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a full-service wealth management, financial services and investment banking company, will occupy 3,600 square feet. My Salon Suite will lease a 5,400-square-foot first-floor walk-up suite and offer hair stylists, nail technicians, massage therapists and spa professionals.

Columbus-area natives Lisa and Lindsey Rusch will open Brekkie Shack, a restaurant featuring breakfast, brunch and lunch with locally curated handcrafted drinks in a 2,500-square-foot space. The eatery also will include an outdoor patio space.

The siblings will live near their restaurant at the Apartments at the Yard.

The Manchester Building will included 123 apartment units on its upper floors.

The building is located on Yard Street adjacent to the Nationwide Insurance campus.

"We are pleased to announce this strong lineup of retailers in the Manchester building," said Nationwide Realty Investors president and chief operating officer Brian Ellis said in a statement announcing the new retail tenants.

"Both Janney and My Salon Suite are notable leaders in their field, and the addition of the locally engaged Brekkie Shack restaurant will be a valuable amenity to Grandview Yard's growing population of office workers and residents and the surrounding community," Ellis said.

Lisa Rusch said opening a restaurant has been a dream for her and her twin sister since they were children.

"When we were kids, growing up in Worthington, we were always spending time baking with our grandmother every Sunday," she said. "I think it was around age 8 that we began talking about how much fun it would be to own our own restaurant one day.

"This is a dream come true for us," Rusch said.

Breakfast will be the main focus of the menu, she said.

Brekkie is an Australian term for breakfast, she added.

"We combined that with shack to indicate that this will be a fun, casual place to eat," Rusch said.

The sisters have shared an apartment in the Yard for about two years.

"We love living in the Yard, with the First Avenue Park nearby and having the ability to walk to so many wonderful amenities in Grandview," Rusch said. "We're so excited to have the opportunity to also be one of the businesses operating at the Yard."

Brekkie Shack will offer 68 indoor seats and about 20 outdoor patio seats.

The restaurant is slated to open Aug. 18. It will be open from 6:30 to 3:30 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.

Other projects are on the horizon at the Yard.

Goddard School preschool is under construction and is expected to open in early 2019 at the northwest corner of the Yard.

The development of a two-story, 32,000-square-foot mixed-use building at 1125 Yard St. continues as well.

The first floor will feature retail and restaurant space; the second floor will be occupied by medical and office space.

Columbus Obstetricians-Gynecologists Inc. will occupy 10,000 square feet on the second floor.
