City leaders will unveil the final design of Reynoldsburg's new YMCA Community Center at 4 p.m June 28 adjacent to the Senior Center at Huber Park, 1520 Davidson Drive.

Service Director Bill Sampson said in addition to viewing the building designs, families can enjoy the farmers market, bounce houses, food and more.

The 57,000-square-foot, two-story facility will be built on 10 acres and is expected to include administrative offices, community rooms, fitness center, gymnasium, studio space, indoor natatorium and an outdoor pool.

Brian Kridler, senior vice president of strategy and innovation for the YMCA of Central Ohio, said working with the city on the community center project would "result in programs and services for the city of Reynoldsburg that will strengthen the community."

The official groundbreaking occurred Sept. 28, 2017. The center is expected to open in late 2019.
