The New Albany Police Department is investigating a theft from a business reported at 3:34 p.m. June 12 in the 6300 block of Fitch Path.

A business-owned laptop, which was valued at $1,600, was reported stolen from the facility, said Sgt. Joel Strahler.

In other recent New Albany police incident reports:

* A 38-year-old Westerville man was cited for open container after a traffic stop at 7:16 a.m. June 16 on eastbound state Route 161. The passenger, a 30-year-old Columbus woman, was arrested on a warrant. Strahler said the woman's felony warrant was for three counts of forgery and one count of drug possession in Franklin County.

* A 28-year-old Grove City resident was arrested for OVI after a traffic stop at 8:45 p.m. June 16 in the 4400 block of state Route 161.

* A 17-year-old New Albany man was arrested for OVI after a traffic stop at 7:16 p.m. June 14 at Bevelhymer and Central College roads.
