Grandview Heights police have charged four Columbus residents with felony counts of burglary in connection with break-ins on Haines Avenue and Mulford Road in Grandview.

The suspects are Charles Price, 22; Sam Seagle, 18; Jessie Bumgardner, 19; and a 16-year-old boy, all of Columbus. Each suspect was charged with burglary, a second-degree felony. Price also was charged with receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony.

Police responded July 3 to reports that unknown suspects had broken into homes in the 1400 block of Haines Avenue and 1200 block of Mulford Road.

On the morning of July 5, another burglary occurred at a residence in the 1300 block of Haines Avenue.

Officers detained the four suspects about 5 a.m. July 5 on Haines Avenue and held them as persons of interest in connection with the burglaries. The charges later were filed against the suspects.

Police believe the burglaries are related.

An investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending, reports said.

Because of the ongoing investigation, Grandview police is not providing any additional information at this time.
