Whitehall City Schools administrators will need to name two assistant principals at Whitehall-Yearling High School after the resignations of Mark Bobo and Donita Hampton.

Their resignations are effective July 31 after being accepted July 12 by the Whitehall school board.

Bobo has accepted an administrative position at the Ohio School Boards Association, and Hampton took a job at Reynoldsburg City Schools, according to Whitehall board President Blythe Wood.

Bobo and Hampton arrived together at Whitehall-Yearling at the start of the 2016-17 school year.

Superintendent Brian Hamler, Deputy Superintendent Mark Trace and principal Paul Smathers will conduct a search for their replacements, Wood said.

Both vacancies have been posted and the district had received 29 applications by the end of day, July 13, Superintendent Brian Hamler said.

"We are in the process of screening those applications and scheduling interviews," Hamler said.

"We will interview over the next two weeks and hope to have both positions filled by the first of August."

Classes at the high school resume Aug. 20.
