A resident of the first block of Frankfort Street reported to Columbus police lawn furniture was stolen between 12:05 and 7 a.m. July 20.

The victim told police he later discvovered his furniture advertised for sale on an online auction website.

The discovery led officers to the 400 block of East Markinson Avenue, where the furniture was recovered and later returned the Frankfort Street man, according to Columbus Division of Police incident reports.

In other recent incident reports from the area:

* A $500 Jeep Cherokee, manufacturing date unknown, was stolen between 2:30 and 10 p.m. July 25 from the 500 block of East Beck Street.

The vehicle contained a number of items, including a $150 flotation device, $300 jewelry-making equipment, $460 worth of straps and buckles for hammocks and $150 kayak paddles.

* A $1,700 laptop computer and $200 sunglasses were stolen between 4:30 and 10:30 p.m. July 25 from the 700 block of South High Street.

The victim told police she forgot the laptop was in the car and left her windows down.

* A Triumph motorcycle, value, model and manufacturing date unknown, was stolen at 8 p.m. July 23 from the 300 block of East Deshler Avenue.
