A man told Columbus police he was assaulted by two other men Aug. 25 on a COTA bus at the corner of East Livingston and Parsons avenues.

According to Columbus Division of Police incident reports, the victim said he was punched in the face by an assailant while another person choked him between 3 and 4 p.m.

He told police he did not know the suspects. He said he was later treated at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center for a concussion and abrasions.

In other recent incident reports from the area:

* A $10,000 Nissan Sentra, manufacturing date unknown, was apparently stolen between 11 p.m. Aug. 25 and 7 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 500 block of Kossuth Street.

While police were taking the report, the victim's father called and said he had located the vehicle.

* A man said he was assaulted at 9 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 1100 block of South High Street.
