A 24-year-old Columbus man faces a felony charge of theft after allegedly stealing $100 from an elderly woman the evening of Aug. 3, according to the Worthington Division of Police.

The man worked at a restaurant on the 7100 block of North High Street, where an 88-year-old woman had forgotten her purse when she left, according to reports.
