The intersection of East Dublin-Granville Road (state Route 161) and Maple Canyon Avenue moved up from 14th place in 2017 to claim the top spot on this year’s Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission regional list of top high-crash intersections.

The rankings are based on data from 2015 to 2017 that consider traffic volume and the number and severity of accidents at the intersections.

Also on the 2018 top-10 list and their rankings from last year, in order, are:

East Broad Street and James Road (No. 2 last year)

East Livingston Avenue and Hamilton Road (1)

Morse and Karl roads (4)

Hilliard Rome and Renner roads (22)

Frank Road/state Route 104/Refugee Road and Winchester Pike (16)

Cleveland Avenue and Dublin-Granville Road (6)

East Broad Street and Lancaster Avenue/Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road (5)

East Livingston Avenue and Brice Road (49)

Cleveland Avenue and Innis Road (3)
