The theft of nearly $500 in cash and personal items from two women's purses was reported Aug. 28 in the 5900 block of Cromdale Drive.

Thefts included $339 in cash during the first incident reported at 11:07 a.m. and $116 in property, including a wallet, $85 in cash and other associated personal items, in the second incident reported at 1:41 p.m.

A 20-year-old Columbus woman was identified as a suspect in connection with the second theft, according to Dublin police department incident reports.

* A 29-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Aug. 28 at U.S. Route 33 West and Emerald Parkway.

* A man, 19, was charged with speeding Aug. 28 at Dublin Police Department, 6565 Commerce Parkway.

* A 22-year-old man was charged with marijuana-drug abuse Aug. 26 at U.S. Route 33 East and Avery-Muirfield Drive.

* A 49-year-old man was charged with having animals or fowl running at large Aug. 26 in the 6200 block of Craughwell Lane.

* A 24-year-old woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 24 at U.S. Route 33 East and Avery-Muirfield Drive.

* A 27-year-old man was charged with domestic violence-simple assault Aug. 24 in the 6800 block of Dublin Center Drive.

* A 22-year-old woman was charged with marijuana drug abuse Aug. 24 in the 5900 block of Avery Road and Kendall Ridge Boulevard.

* A 31-year-old woman was charged with domestic violence-simple assault Aug. 24 in the 500 block of Metro Place South.

* Four juveniles were found to be in violation of curfew Aug. 28 in the 5300 block of Post Road and Emerald Parkway.
