Officers investigated several shoplifting reports from a business in the 2700 block of Taylor Road Sourthwest.

They arrested a 29-year-old Grove City woman at 1:51 p.m. Sept. 18 after she allegedly attempted to steal items from the store.

Another woman is facing theft charges after she allegedly tried to steal items at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 20 from the same store. Officers arrested a 25-year-old man from Dublin in that incident.

A 25-year-old Columbus man also was arrested on theft charges at 9:33 a.m. Sept. 21 at the same location.

In other Reynoldsburg police reports:

* Officers checked out several reports from residents who said they heard gunshots between Sept. 16 and Sept. 20.

A resident reported hearing shots fired at 4:37 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 9000 block of Lupine Drive.

A second resident reported hearing shots at 6:18 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 8000 block of Fenway Circle and two more reports came in at 5:08 p.m. Sept. 20 in the vicinity of Balsam Drive and the 1000 block of Rosehill Road.

Officers took reports on all three incidents, but none resulted in a suspect or an arrest.

* Police checked out a suspicious car at 1:24 a.m. Sept. 18 when it was parked in the 2700 block of Taylor Road Southwest. A 48-year-old Columbus man was arrested on outstanding warrants and for possession of a controlled substance.
