Westerville police said a 17-year-old Westerville boy was arrested after allegedly threatening a classmate with a gun.
According to reports, a neighbor witnessed the suspect pointing a gun at the victim in the street in the 400 block of Harrogate Loop East on the afternoon of Sept. 21.
Police responded to the scene to investigate the incident. The victim told them that an argument on social media between him and the suspect had escalated to threats, prompting the 17-year-old to drive to confront the victim, reports stated.
He told police that when the suspect noticed a neighbor's car pull up, the suspect left the area.
Eventually, police went to the suspect's home and confronted him. His mother agreed to let police search the house, where they found a handgun along with drug paraphernalia and a small amount of suspected marijuana, according to reports.
The boy was charged with aggravated menacing through the Franklin County Juvenile Court and released to his mother.

* A church official reported someone spray painted lewd symbols on two handicap parking spaces at the facility in the 200 block of South State Street.
According to reports, someone spray painted a large drawing and other symbols on the spaces sometime between Sept. 14 and 16.
Police have no suspects.
* A resident reported someone rummaged through a vehicle on the afternoon of Sept. 17 while it was parked in the 100 block of Hamilton Avenue.
Only change was reported missing, according to reports.
