Leadership Upper Arlington will host a candidates night from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Upper Arlington Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road.

The free event is open to the public. There will be an informal open house in the MSC lobby from 6 to 7 p.m. where the public will have an opportunity to meet candidates face-to-face.

From 7 to 9 p.m., news anchor Kurt Ludlow will moderate a question-and-answer forum in council chambers with the candidates, including Allison Russo and Erik Yassenoff, who are seeking election to the Ohio House of Representatives for the 24th District.

Questions will be formulated prior to the forum based on public input and current issues. Leadership UA encourages attendees to submit questions prior to the event by emailing them to info@leadershipua.org.

Questions will be accepted until 3 p.m. Oct. 17.

In addition, the Upper Arlington charter review committee will have a representative available to answer questions about proposed city charter changes, which will be on the ballot as Issue 34.
