Bexley police said a resident in the 900 block of Francis Avenue reported he observed two males walking south from his residence, wheeling his trash can, at 6 a.m. Oct. 22.

He assumed that it was trash pick-up in progress, but woke up later to find the can was missing and other trash out by the curb still was present, reports stated.

In other recent reports from the Bexley Police Department:

* An employee of a store in the 2200 block of East Livingston Avenue reported that at 11:56 a.m. Oct. 22, someone stole a package of Pop Tarts and two beverages, one 16-ounce Red Bull and a 20-ounce Tropicana Twisted. The employee reported the suspect left the lot heading west on East Livingston Avenue. A description of the suspect was not provided.

* A resident in the 900 block of Montrose Avenue reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle between Oct. 19 and Oct. 21 and stole a jacket, fishing gloves and loose change while the vehicle was parked on the street in front of his residence.
