A church on the 5700 block of North High Street reported that from Sept. 28 until Oct. 8 an employee used a church account to purchase tools and pawn them for cash, according to the Worthington Division of Police.

Police said prosecution is likely.

In other recent Worthington police incident reports:

* A Worthington resident reported Oct. 5 someone broke a window in the rear of their home and stole items between the hours of 10 a.m and 4:45 p.m. on the 6500 block of Tonbridge Street. The incident is being investigated.

* A body shop on the 6200 block of Huntley Road reported at 11:22 p.m. Oct. 10 that someone entered the premises after cutting a hole in the fence and started going through unlocked vehicles. Police said it is unknown if anything is stolen and there is not have enough information to investigate.

* A client of a local ballroom on the 400 block of East Wilson Bridge Road told police Oct. 10 that she paid $850 to rent the space for a rehearsal location. She said the business closed and never issued her a refund. Police said other clients have come forward with similar accounts and charges are likely. The case is pending.
