More than $3,000 in construction equipment was reported stolen over two days from the same site, but investigators don't know if the incidents are related, according to Sgt. Kris Daniels of the New Albany Police Department.

In the first incident, construction equipment valued at $2,750 was reported stolen at 9:52 a.m. Oct. 24 from the 8200 block of Walton Parkway.

In the second incident, construction equipment valued at $1,000 was reported stolen at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 from the same location.

No other details were available.

In other recent New Albany police incident reports:

* Golf equipment valued at $1,639.96 was reported stolen at 4:13 p.m. Oct. 28 from the first block of Club Lane.

* A 19-year-old Pataskala woman was charged with drug abuse and controlled substance possession or use after a traffic stop at 4:27 p.m. Oct. 27 at New Albany and Central College roads. Police found narcotics and narcotics equipment during the traffic stop.

* A 23-year-old Columbus woman was cited for drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 1:29 p.m. Oct. 26 at Johnstown and Southfield roads.
