A representative from a business on the 400 block of Schrock Road reported to the Worthington Division of Police at 8:15 a.m. Oct. 23 the business was defrauded of money through forging of documents.

The incident is under investigation by Worthington police and no charges have been filed.

In other recent Worthington police incident reports:

* A representative of a bank on East Wilson Bridge Road reported at 1 p.m. Oct. 19 a suspicious package was left at the location.

The package turned out to be a backpack containing a laptop that was left behind by a customer.

The owner was contacted by police and the bag was returned.

* A Columbus woman told police her cellphone was stolen at 10 p.m. Oct. 23 from a grocery store on West Wilson Bridge Road.

* A Worthington resident told police that from Aug. 17 to Oct. 24, a contractor offered to purchase several items while completing work at a home on Berend Street. The items were taken, but no payment was made.

The incident is under investigation.
