Nature Crafts, 1 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Nature Center. Guests can create crafts with materials found in the wild.

Blacklick Woods Metro Park

6975 E. Livingston Ave., Reynoldsburg

Turkey Crafts, 1 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Nature Center. Guests can celebrate Thanksgiving with turkey-themed crafts.

Winter is Coming Display, 8 a.m. Nov. 24 and 25 at the Nature Center. Guests can view a display about animals and how they prepare for winter.

Metro Five-0: Level 1 Gardening For Wildlife, 3 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Nature Center. Guests ages 50 and older can start planning next year's garden by watching a presentation on ways to make yards more attractive.

Blendon Woods Metro Park

4265 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Westerville

Wild Turkey Display, noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Nature Center. Guests can stop by to learn about this bird that has made a comeback in Ohio.

Relaxing Yoga, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 26. Guests of all ages and skill levels can participate in an hour of outdoor yoga.

Homeschool: Primitive Skills, 10 a.m. Nov. 29 and 1 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Nature Center. Guests can try their hand at making fire and cordage and other skills used by Native Americans and early settlers.

Highbanks Metro Park

9466 U.S. Route 23 N., Lewis Center

Howl at the Moon, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Nature Center. Guests can bring a flashlight and hike with their canine friends on a 3.5-mile route.

Scioto Audubon Metro Park

400 W. Whittier St., Columbus

Pre-K Storytime, 10 a.m. Thursdays and Saturdays at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, 505 W. Whittier St. Bring little ones for a nature-inspired story or two.

Weekly Bird Hikes, 10 a.m. Saturdays at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Guests will learn how to use binoculars and search for birds.

Sharon Woods Metro Park

6911 Cleveland Ave., Westerville

Fast-Paced Adult Full-Moon Hike, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Apple Ridge Bulletin Board. Guests ages 18 and older will take a 2.8-mile hike.

Preschoolers: Puppet Show, 9:30 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 27 and 28 at Spring Hollow Lodge. Guests can wear pajamas and join the Discovery Forest puppets as they learn about hibernation.

Slate Run Living Historical Farm

1375 state Route 674 N., Canal Winchester

Indoor Amusements, 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 23-25 at the Farmhouse. Guests can try indoor games and toys and challenge their mind with 19th century puzzles.
