Police checked out a suspicious car at a local business and found a woman in possession of a loaded gun and several illegal substances.

According to the police report, officers arrived at 1:56 a.m. Nov. 18 at a business in the 2700 block of Taylor Road Southwest and found the woman sitting in a car in the parking lot.

The 37-year-old Grove City woman was charged with possessing a loaded firearm; possessing weapons while under disability; possessing drugs/heroin; trafficking in drugs; possessing drug paraphernalia; possessing drugs/marijuana; improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle; receiving stolen property and criminal simulation.

In other Reynoldsburg police reports:

* Witnesses reported a man fired a gun at 1:27 p.m. Nov. 17 at a residence in the 1800 block of Century City East. He was charged with discharging a deadly weapon and criminal damaging.

* A complaint about a suspicious car sent officers to a business in the 2600 block of Taylor Road Southwest at 1:18 a.m. Nov. 21. They arrested a 31-year old Pickerington man on possession of drugs charges.

* Police charged a 26-year-old Carroll resident with theft after he was caught allegedly stealing merchandise from a business in the 2900 block of Taylor Road Southwest at 6:21 p.m. Nov. 16.

* A 19-year-old Reynoldsburg man was arrested on domestic violence and assault charges at 3:01 p.m. Nov. 17 at a residence in the 6400 block of Birchview Drive North.

* A 57-year-old woman was charged with domestic violence and assault at 8:58 p.m. Nov. 18 after an incident at a residence in 1400 block of Lancaster Avenue South.
