Dublin will create its own winter wonderland Thursday, Nov. 29, during the city's annual tree-lighting ceremony.

The event, which will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in Coffman Park, 5200 Emerald Parkway, features caroling, dancing, stilt walkers, ice-sculpting demonstrations and a visit from Kriss Kringle.

Kids will be able to write and mail letters to Santa at the West Shelter House. Santa's reindeer will also visit the Coffman Barn.

Santa Claus will light the tree at 6:40 p.m., and he and Mrs. Claus will arrive at the festivities on his sleigh.

Refreshments will be available for purchase, and event parking is available in the Coffman Park lots, the Dublin Community Recreation Center, 5600 Post Road, and the southwest Field, 6670 Commerce Parkway.
