Central Ohio high schools are well represented on the all-state hockey teams.

Upper Arlington senior forward Jack Dolan leads the area contingent, sharing Player of the Year honors with Matt Wiegandt of state champion Cleveland St. Ignatius. Dolan had 49 goals and 29 assists as UA went 21-8-3-1.

Olentangy Liberty forward Jimmy Bursinger was named second-team all-state. St. Charles defenseman Mark Mitchell, Olentangy Orange forward Mark Murley and UA defenseman Nick Tevonian made the third team.

Named honorable mention were Orange defenseman Nick Brandt, St. Charles forward Darryl Falter, St. Charles forward Connor Kannally, Thomas Worthington forward Joey Pischel, Dublin Jerome goaltender Jack Richey, Orange forward Josh Rochon and Liberty defenseman Sam Turner.
