The Delaware Christian School softball team was eliminated from the Division IV district tournament with a 16-1 loss at eighth-seeded Fairfield Christian in the first round May 9.

The Eagles, who were seeded 10th of 16 teams, totaled four hits. Kara Haskins had a double, Emily Parrish had two singles and Madie Morgan also singled.

Delaware Christian made five errors and allowed 15 hits.

The Eagles finished 8-10 overall and were MOCAL runners-up, going 6-2 to finish behind Granville Christian (8-0).
