Pickerington High School Central girls lacrosse coach Maggie Bornhorst recently resigned after three seasons, and isn’t yet sure of her next career stop.

Bornhorst was 38-15-1 with the Tigers. This past season, Central went 9-9 overall and 5-1 in the OCC-Central Division, second behind eventual Division I state champion Upper Arlington, and lost to Dublin Jerome 20-3 in a Division I, Region 3 quarterfinal.

“I have not made any decision on my lacrosse future yet,” Bornhorst said. “A lot of positions are opening up, so I may apply if I feel the ‘right fit’ vibe. Otherwise, I’ll continue to coach club for Resolute (Lacrosse) and possibly ref.”

A Dayton native who grew up in Maryland, Bornhorst played midfielder for Philadelphia University from 2005-09.
