The Columbus Academy football team clinched its second consecutive postseason berth with a 41-7 win over visiting Grandview on Oct. 27.

The Vikings also secured a share of the MSL-Ohio Division title with London and Whitehall, as all three teams went 4-1.

Academy is seeded fifth in Division V, Region 19 and will visit Belmont Union Local for a first-round game Friday, Nov. 3. Both teams are 8-2.

Union Local is making its first postseason appearance since 2008. The Jets are coached by Bruce Stiles and play in the Buckeye 8 Conference.

"They are impressive," coach Robin Miller said. "They are hard-nosed and run hard. They have similar schemes to us on both sides of the ball."

The winner plays top-seeded Wheelersburg or eighth-seeded Ready in a regional semifinal Nov. 10 at a neutral site to be determined.

Against Grandview, Herman Moultrie rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass from Matt Saling, who threw for 159 yards and two scores.
