After correctly predicting 22 of 25 games in the first two rounds of the playoffs, Eric Frantz, managing editor of JJHuddle.com, had a 5-5 week. Yes, it’s doesn’t get more average than a .500 week, but the record seemed to be the result of the unpredictability of the games as only two members of the ThisWeek Sports predictions panel posted better records.
Jeff Stevenson and Lee Cochran both went 6-4 to inch a bit closer to the lead. Frantz is at 124-61 for the season -- four games better than Stevenson and six ahead of Cochran. Making it a little more interesting this week is that Stevenson differs with Frantz on four games. On the otherhand, Cochran has only one game different from Frantz.
This week, the panel has predicted all 14 state semifinals and will close the season next week by predicting all seven state finals.
Enjoy the state semifinals!
