While the ThisWeek Super 7 girls basketball rankings remain unchanged from the last poll released Dec. 20, there has been a shakeup in the boys rankings.

Pickerington North, which was the preseason No. 1, has won five in a row and is back at the top.

Hilliard Bradley, which led the most recent rankings, drops to fifth after losing to Hilliard Davidson 37-35 on Dec. 29.

One of two new teams in the boys rankings, No. 4 Beechcroft beat Northland 83-74 on Dec. 22 to hand the perennial City League-North Division power just its second league loss since 2006-07.

The Cougars are 8-0 and are among a slew of City programs that lead the way in Division II along with Eastmoor Academy, which is 7-2 and ranked sixth.

Also new to the boys poll is No. 7 Ready, which is 8-0 and off to the best start among a strong group of Division III programs.
