Hoop It Up Performances of the Week for Jan. 3-8

BOYS BASKETBALL

Pickerington North senior Jerome Hunter had 29 points and seven rebounds to help his team beat visiting Beechcroft 67-55 on Jan. 6. Hunter scored his 1,000th career point during the game and has 1,018 for his career for the Panthers, who are 8-2. It was the first loss this season for the Cougars, who are 8-1.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Worthington Kilbourne senior Maggie Crozier scored 32 points in a 64-54 victory over Walnut Ridge on Jan. 3 to become the program’s all-time leading scorer. That performance also set a record for points in a game by a Wolves player. Crozier is averaging 18.5 points. She has 1,059 career points.
