Three area high school basketball players have been nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Games on March 28 at Philips Arena in Atlanta.

Pickerington North’s Jerome Hunter and Upper Arlington’s Dane Goodwin were nominated for the boys game. The only girls nominee from the area is Pickerington Central’s Bexley Wallace.

All are Division I recruits. Goodwin has signed with Notre Dame, Hunter is headed to Indiana and Wallace will play at Penn State.

More than 700 players were nominated nationally, including 10 boys and 11 girls from Ohio.

Final rosters, consisting of 24 boys and 24 girls, will be unveiled Jan. 16.
