The only movement in the boys basketball Super 7 poll comes at the bottom of the rankings, where Newark moves in for the first time.

With a 62-60 victory over Olentangy Liberty on Feb. 6, the Wildcats have won 16 in a row and are 17-2.

No. 2 Upper Arlington had the toughest win among the other six in the Super 7 when it edged Dublin Coffman 44-41 on Feb. 3 on Dane Goodwin’s buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

In the girls rankings, Pickerington Central drops to No. 3, flip-flopping with Coffman after losing 55-50 on Feb. 2 at Reynoldsburg.

Africentric lost to No. 1 Newark 60-52 on Jan. 31 but remains at No. 4.

Westerville South and Reynoldsburg stay at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively, and have the same record at 15-5, with the difference being that the Wildcats edged the Raiders 63-62 on Jan. 23.
