After finishing with just five wins a year ago, the Tree of Life Christian School boys basketball team enjoyed a turnaround season led by a familiar leader.

Joe Arndt, who stepped down following the 2014-15 season, returned as coach and guided the Trojans to a Division IV district final.

The Trojans lost that game to Fairfield Christian 47-34 on March 10 at Bloom-Carroll, finishing 20-5 after going 5-16 last season.

Fairfield Christian improved to 12-14 and will play Berlin Hiland in a regional semifinal March 13 at Ohio University.

Andrew Konjevich led the Trojans with nine points.

“These guys accomplished so much,” Arndt said. “My goal was try to get them back to .500 and we won 20 games.”

Caleb Collins scored 21 points and Bradley Anderson added 10 for Fairfield Christian.
