Anna Karousis will not return as coach of the Olentangy Orange High School field hockey program after four seasons.

The Pioneers were 11-4-3 overall and 5-2-1 in the Central Ohio Field Hockey League-West Division this fall. They tied Upper Arlington for third in the league behind Thomas Worthington (8-0) and Olentangy Liberty (7-1) and reached a district semifinal, losing to Watterson 4-2.

Orange was 34-27-6 overall and 15-14-2 in the league under Karousis.

“We decided to go in a different direction with the program,” athletics director Buck Weaver said.

Weaver is accepting applications for the position at buck_weaver@olsd.us.
