Dublin Arts Council, inaugural D'Art Dash 5K Run/Walk to benefit DAC educational programming, 9 a.m. Oct. 11 at the Dublin Community Recreation Center, 5600 Post Road. Dress as a favorite artist or create a costume inspired by a favorite piece of artwork. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative costumes in both individual and group categories, although costumes are optional for participating in the event.
