Tabu has been replaced by 3 Monkeys Bar & Grill in Crosswoods. “I think it’s definitely a breath of fresh air in the area because there isn’t concept quite like ours,” assistant general manager Matthew Wilson said. In the early evening, it's known as a restaurant. Later at night, it transforms into a club. The bi-level space features two bars, a dance floor and plenty of seating, not to mention two large patios on either side of the building, 7520 High Cross Blvd. “It’s comfortable, slightly industrial, but it also has this rustic feel,” Wilson said. The menu features lots of tavern classic such as appetizers, salads, burgers and sandwiches, most between $5 and $9. Entrees – salmon, chicken, shrimp and steak – are in the $13 range. The place opens at 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday. Lunch hours begin April 19. For more information, call 614-846-6300.
