Large companies spend billions of dollars each year to convince shoppers that their products are the superior. In many instances, they succeed. Shoppers see the commercials, the ads in magazines and the bill boards with products. They make the assumption, that the quality of the products is the best.

So the question is what do you shop for--- the brand, the best price or the best quality and value for the dollar? Many shoppers reach for the national brand because they have the perception it is a better product. They make this decision without trying the stores custom label counterpart to the product. The store label may have the exact ingredient and be priced much less.

Compare the ingredients in detergents, cleaning agents, grocery items, personal care products and more. Be willing to try new products and always look for the products that give you the most value for your dollar.

For now happy shopping!
