Drew Ryan rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another Friday as the Licking Valley High School football team closed the regular season with a 41-0 victory over visiting Columbus Academy.
The Panthers, who have won nine in a row since their opening loss, clinched the outright title in the MSL-Ohio Division with a 7-0 record. The Vikings finished 4-6 overall and 2-5 in the division.
Ryan rushed for 101 yards on 12 carries, including touchdown runs of 4, 71 and 5 yards.
Storm Klein, who opened the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, rushed for 122 yards on 15 carries.
On its first drive of the game, Academy drove to the Licking Valley 15-yard line before missing a 32-yard field goal. It was only serious threat for the Vikings.
Austin Peterman led Academy with 93 yards rushing on 21 carries.
