There were many defenders who thought they had Farwick wrapped up, only to watch him break free and pick up more yards. That's one of the reasons why the 6-0, 210-pound running back led Upper Arlington's run-oriented wing-T offense with 1,157 yards on 153 carries (7.6 per carry) and scored 10 touchdowns.

"He has a real ability to break tackles," coach Mike Golden said.

"You can see his determination when he's running. I think that's what people see when they watch him run. His toughness is what jumps out the most. He blocks as hard as he runs. He does whatever he can to help the team win."

Farwick was the district Offensive Player of the Year in Division I and co-Player of the Year in the OCC-Central Division.
