White, a Michigan State recruit who was the OCC-Ohio Player of the Year and was first-team all-district in Division I, is a big-play threat from anywhere.
On offense, he had 38 receptions for 598 yards and six touchdowns through 13 games. On defense, he had 51 tackles, four forced fumbles, five tackles for losses, six batted passes and two interceptions. The 6-1, 180-pounder also returns punts and kickoffs and even returned a missed field goal 97 yards for a score.
"When our team is backed into a corner and we need a big play, offense, defense or special teams, Patrick's the guy who we want to get the ball to," said coach Jay Sharrett, whose team was 13-0 after beating Hilliard Davidson 7-3 in a regional final Nov. 15. "Whether we need a big catch, a broken-up pass or a long kick return, Patrick's always there to get it done."
