The 5-10, 185-pound White played a vital role as Bexley advanced to the playoffs for the first time, finishing 7-4 after being eliminated in the first round in Division III.

In nine games, he rushed for 1,430 yards and 24 touchdowns on 182 carries and completed 100 of 186 passes for 1,249 yards and five touchdowns. At defensive back, he made 23 tackles and had two interceptions as he was named Defensive Player of the Year in the district.

White, a Ball State recruit and the MSL-Ohio Division Player of the Year, also averaged 36 yards a punt and made 30 of 33 extra points.

"This year Seth brought a lot more to the team than what he did on Friday nights," coach John Smith said. "He's a competitor and a lot of kids were willing to follow his example."
