Ingredients Two 8-ounce packages of organic tempeh 1 quart vegetable oil for frying. Cajun seasonings
Place tempeh in pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. It will remove some of the smell from the fermentation process. Pat dry. Cut tempeh into cubes, roughly 16 pieces per block.
Heat vegetable oil up to 350 degrees. Fry tempeh in the oil for three to four minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the fryer and drain. Sprinkle with Cajun seasonings. Serve with sriracha ketchup.
Recipe for sriracha ketchup: 1 cup ketchup. ¼ cup sriracha sauce. ¼ cup sweet chili sauce.
Mix together and serve.
