The Central Ohio All-Kennel Club will host its annual AKC-licensed all-breed dog show on Sunday, April 19.

The Central Ohio All-Kennel Club will host its annual AKC-licensed all-breed dog show on Sunday, April 19.

Open to the public, the show features more than 100 breeds, and approximately 1,500 dogs will compete for the traditional Best in Show honor. The show will host some of the top breeds and dogs in the country.

AKC dogs will compete in Conformation, AKC Rally, Obedience and other events under the supervision of the Central Ohio Kennel Club. Juniors, aged 10-18, will get their first shots in a featured ring to try their hands at dog performance.

On Saturday, April 18, the Medina All-Kennel Club hosts its show in conjunction with the Central Ohio All-Kennel Club's show.

Both events are at the Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Ave, in Columbus.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. each day and judging begins at 8 a.m. On Sunday, around 5 or 6 p.m., the Best in Show will be selected.
