* Cruddy Creek, 1 p.m. Sunday at the Nature Center. Learn why rivers and creeks get polluted and visit the living stream to learn how you can help the environment.

* 10th Annual Earth Day Awareness, 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nature Center. Celebrate Earth Day by removing alien plants and cleaning up Blacklick Creek. Bring work gloves and wading shoes. Try a taste of edible invasive plants afterward.

* Sunday in the Swamp, 1 p.m. Sunday at the Nature Center. Scoop up slimy swimmers from the buttonbush swamp.

* Woodcock Watch, 8 p.m. Saturday at the bulletin board at the picnic shelter near the main park entrance. Take a one-mile hike and search for the woodcock's aerial mating dance.

* Friday Frog Frenzy, 8 p.m. Friday at the Confluence Trails bulletin board. Bring a flashlight and your wading shoes to search for frogs and listen to their mating songs.

* Howl at the Moon, 8 p.m. Saturday at the Confluence Trails bulletin board. Take a three-mile walk with your dog.

* Preschoolers: Awesome Amphibians, 10 a.m. Monday at the Confluence Trails bulletin board. Discover frogs, toads and salamanders through stories and activities.

* Homeschoolers: Awesome Amphibians, 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Confluence Trails bulletin board. Take a short walk to explore a small wetland while learning about frogs, toads and salamanders. For ages 6 and older.
