The B&G Tool Co. will add a new manufacturing facility adjacent to its existing headquarters in the Northwest Side.

The B&G Tool Co. will add a new manufacturing facility adjacent to its existing headquarters in the Northwest Side. The Columbus Board of Zoning Adjustment on Tuesday, Nov. 17, approved variances related to setback and parking to allow the 50-year-old company to construct a new tool-and-die facility at 4820 Kenny Road. B&G will build a 3,000-square-foot manufacturing center on adjacent land to an existing building, which is about the same size. The company makes specialty industrial tools for a variety of industries, said Mike Plahuta, president of B&G. The new building should be ready by spring, he said.
