Columbus City Council has announced the process to fill the seat being vacated by Councilwoman Eileen Y. Paley, who was elected in November as a Franklin County municipal judge.

Columbus City Council has announced the process to fill the seat being vacated by Councilwoman Eileen Y. Paley, who was elected in November as a Franklin County municipal judge.

Applicants must submit eight copies of a resume and a narrative of no more than 500 words describing the greatest challenges and opportunities facing Columbus. Application materials must be accepted and time-stamped by the office of the Columbus City Clerk in City Hall, 90 W. Broad St., Room 231, Columbus, 43215 by noon Friday, Dec. 11.

Interviews will follow. An appointment is expected to be made in early January.
