The Central Ohio Symphony has been selected to receive a grant of $20,000 from PNC Arts Alive, a multiyear, $2.5 million grant initiative of the PNC Foundation.

The symphony was one of eight arts organizations in central Ohio to receive funding in the most recent round of awards. Its project, Hear Ohio!, featuring Ohio artists and composers, will be presented in April 2017 with community activities, guest artists in area schools and a concert to end the symphony's 38th season.

This is the third time the symphony has received this grant over the last six years.
